2011 Tournament Schedule
Beginning around mid June the harbor buzzes with excitement in anticipation of tournament season. The blue marlin are here in big numbers as are tournament anglers looking for a big payout. Tournament payouts can range anywhere from a few thousand dollars to over $200,000. I have regulars who fish tournaments with me every year but there are still some tournaments available if you want to sign up. You don’t have to be an experienced angler either. Some of my tournament teams are not and they do very well. I f you haven’t fished a tournament and experienced the excitement of this type of fishing I would recommend getting some friends together and giving it a try. My crew and I will walk you through all you need to know to land a winning fish. Entry fees can range from $100 for single day tournament to $3,500 for multiple day tournaments with the average around $1,500.
